The Aspire R14 is excellent value with crisp performance. No important corners are cut in terms of the hardware and it’s a decent looking machine, too. It’s a little thick and heavy compared with premium Ultrabooks, and the screen is average at best, but you’d be hard pressed to find a better value alternative that matches its specs and good looks.

  4. So my Laptop, an Acer R5-471T-51un, no longer turns on and the place where it usually shows a Red or Green light for power doesn't show anything. I thought maybe our charging core was the problem and that my laptop battery was dead and just needed to be charged, but I bought a brand new charging core and it's still not turning on or showing any signs it's getting or has any power.

    Your laptop is equipped with one SSD of 256Gb (Lite-on M.2-2280 22x80mm).

    There are original SSD of 512Gb M.2 2280.

    Two SSD connectors but there's a little space for the second (not 100% sure).

    1. Remove 12 screws from bottom cover (all same)
    2. Return the laptop. The keyboard in front of you.
    3. Use a mediator to insert to the gap near the IO connectors, pry all edges of the top case to release all hocks.
      In this order: Right side, front side (touch pad), left side.
    4. Lift the upper edge of top case to remove bottom cover.
    5. Disconnect the battery cable from main board.
      Normally you should have access to the SSD (one srew).
    Remove 12 screws from bottom cover (all same)Return the laptop.     I got some questions to ask which I didn't know whom to refer for , my laptop is Acer aspire R5 471T. 51UN. Is it possible for me to upgrade to a 'SSD 970 EVO PLUS NVME M.2 1TB' or 'SSD 860 EVO M.2 SATA 2TB'?
    As for me I would be interested on fastest one. But I saw them to have different pins (I don't know how tech people call it, in my language we call them tooth 😅 )
