Scanned User Manual. I bought one of these univeral air-conditioner remote controls on ebay, and a year later I couldn’t find the manual. I searched online and it wasn’t on the manufacturer’s webpage or anywhere else. Eventually I found my copy of the user manual and the code to enter for my Samsung air conditioner.

To stop the operating, press the (On/Off) button until all indicators
turn off.

You can select the 5 Way function with operating mode of the air conditioner for
more comfortable circumstances. You can use the 5 Way function with the indoor
unit as well as the remote control. Thus, you can use this function
even though you have lost your remote control.
Using with the indoor unit
To select the 5 Way function with the remote control, press the button
one or more times until the desired mode is selected.

Each 5 Way indicator on the indoor unit lights up in order.
Selecting with the Remote Control
Even if the air conditioner has been turned on via the
(On/Off)
button on the unit, operations can still be controlled using the
remote control as usual.

Before you begin, thoroughly familiarize yourself with the control panel and remote control and all its
functions, then follow the symbol for the functions you desire.
The unit can be controlled by the unit control panel alone or with the remote control.

OPERATION PANEL OF THE AIR CONDITIONER
Selects the appropriate operating mode. Each
time you press the button, a mode is selected
in a sequence that goes from AUTO, COOL,
DRY, FAN and HEAT (on models with heating
function). The mode indicator light illuminates
under the different mode setting.
NOTE: The control is capable of displaying
temperature in degrees Fahrenheit or degrees
Celsius. To convert from one to the other, press
and hold the Up and Down buttons at the same
time, for 3 seconds.
Used to initiate the AUTO ON start time
and AUTO OFF stop time program, in
conjuction with the & buttons.

UP ( ) and DOWN ( ) buttons
Used to adjust (increase/decrease)
temperature settings (2°F/1°C increments)
in a range of 62°F (17°C) to 88°F (30°C) or
the TIMER setting in a range of 0-24 hrs.
Use this button to initiate/cancel the auto
swing feature .

Shows the set temperature in '

LED Display
Press to select the fan speed in four steps-
AUTO, LOW, MED (on some models) and
HIGH.The fan speed indicator light illuminates
under different fan settings except AUTO
speed. When AUTO fan speed is selected,
all the fan indicator lights turn dark.
